Seven Layer Salad

1. Fill salad bowl ½ full of shredded or pinched lettuce.
2. Add ½ cup each of the following: chopped celery, chopped green pepper, Spanish or purple onions.
3. Optional - add one pkg. (10 oz.) frozen green peas, cooked and drained
4. TOPPING: 1 pint mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp. sugar, ½ cup Parmesan cheese; mix and spread on top.
5. Sprinkle ½ lb. chopped bacon or 1 can Wilson's Bits of Bacon on top.

Let stand 7 or 8 hours or overnight in refrigerator. Keeps well.
