Apples & Sweet Potato Casserole

3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled & sliced
2 cups sliced, peeled apples
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
Chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. butter

Place sweet potatoes in buttered baking dish. Add apples and layer with marshmallows. Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle over top. Mix cornstarch with ½ cup water until smooth - pour over all. Dot with butter. Cover and bake @ 350° for 1 hour. May make several days ahead.
