1 ½ cups butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. salt
1 ½ gallons milk (hot)
1 cup flour
¼ tsp. white pepper
3 lbs. broccoli
Cook all ingredients except broccoli in a double boiler until thick. Add 3 pounds cooked broccoli cuts - large pieces are best. (This one came from the Theta house at Purdue.)
