Miss Beverly's Chocolate Pie

6 Tbsp. flour
1 ½ cups sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 egg yolks
1 ½ cups evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter
1 baked pastry shell
4 Tbsp. sugar
3 egg whites
Pinch baking powder

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa together. Add beaten egg yolks. Add evaporated milk. Cook in double boiler until thick. Add vanilla and butter. Pour into baked pie shell. For meringue, beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and baking powder. Spread on pie and bake in moderate oven until brown.
