Crescent Sausage Sandwiches

1 lb. pork sausage
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
2 cans (8 oz. each) Refrig. Crescent Rolls or Italian Flavor Dinner Rolls
2 cups shredded Cheddar or American cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Preheat oven to 375°. Brown and crumble sausage, drain well. Set aside to cool. Separate 1 can dough into 4 rectangles. Place these on ungreased cookie sheet. Firmly press perforations to seal. Stir cheese and egg into cooled sausage. Spread about a cup meat mixture over each rectangle. Separate second can dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations and place over meat mixture. Stretch gently to cover and press edges with fork to seal. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional.) Bake @ 350° for 16 - 20 minutes.
