Easy Fruit Cobbler

1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar + ¼ cup sugar
2 cups any fruit

Melt butter. Mix flour and one cup sugar together, then pour in milk and whisk. Pour mixture over butter and stir. Gently fold in fruit (blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, etc.). Sprinkle ¼ cup sugar over top. Cook 20-30 minutes @ 350º or until golden brown on top.
