
Mix sugar, butter, salt and nutmeg. Add whole eggs. Beat well. Add milk. Bake 7 minutes at 425º, lower heat to 325º and bake for 20-25 minutes or until it shimmies. Hint: You should rub a little flour or sugar in crust before you pour filling in it. Bake until custard is firm 1 ½" from outside of pan. You can test this by putting the blade of a clean knife in and if it comes out clean, it is done.
