Place in layers in 2 qt. baking dish with a tight fitting lid:
1. 1 cup uncooked rice, washed and drained;
2. 1 can whole kernel corn, drained;
3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and pour 1 can tomato sauce & ½ can water over it;
4. ½ cup each finely chopped onion and green pepper;
5. ¾ lb. uncooked ground beef;
6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and add 2nd can of tomato sauce & ½ can water;
7. Cover meat with 4 strips bacon which have been cut in half.
Cover and bake 1 hour @ 350º; uncover and bake about 30 min. longer until bacon is crisp.
