
Add flour to margarine and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add milk and salt and cook until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add onion, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and paprika. Bring water to boil. Add salt, oil and noodles. Cook about 10-15 minutes. Drain noodles, add to cream sauce, and mix well. Place in baking dish and sprinkle with the shredded American cheese. Cover with foil and bake in a 350º oven for 35-40 minutes.
