Mary's Mother's Snowballs

2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
¾ cups sugar
8 oz. milk chocolate drops
2 cups flour, sifted
Powdered sugar for dusting

Cream butter and sugar well, until smooth. Add flour, then walnuts. Gather dough into disk-shape and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate at least ½ hour. Preheat oven to 350º. Remove foil from candies and insert one inside a ball of dough 1" in diameter. Make sure each candy is completely covered by dough. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for about 12 minutes, until just baked through. Sift powdered sugar over while still warm.
